Recommended tools
You will need the tools listed in Table 21 to complete the zone
calibration procedure.
Procedure
The procedure consists of three tasks:
1 Collect the temperature measurements
2 Enter the measurements into the Headspace Sampler
3 Store the custom offset
Follow the procedure in Table 22.

septum part number 5183-4477.
1 No.1 Phillips head screw driver Used for accessing the loop heated zone.
1 High temperature tape Used to secure the probe lead from the oven.
1 Timer Used for tracking the equilibration time between the zone
reaching the set point and the measurement.
1 Digital thermometer Recommend 2 inputs with accuracy of ±0.2 °C.
2 Type K thermocouple bead probe Able to function between 0 °C and 260 °C with an
accuracy of ±1.1 °C
