Setting the GC Cycle Time
The GC Cycle Time is the time required to complete the entire
GC run. It is the sum of the GC run time, the GC equilibration
time (read from the GC front panel), and an estimate of the
cool-down time required (if any).
Use the cursor keys to highlight GC Cycle Time (min). Key
in the desired value, followed by Enter.
The allowed range for this setting is 1.0-999.9 minutes in
increments of 0.1 minutes. The recommended minimum GC
cycle time is 2.5 minutes.
Setting the Vial Equilibration Time
The Vial Equilibration Time is the time the vial spends in the
oven heating to form the headspace gas.
Use the cursor keys to highlight Vial Eq. Time (min). Key
in the desired value, followed by Enter.
Vial equilibration time may be reduced for liquid samples if
shake is enabled. See Vial Parameters.
The allowed range for this setting is 0-999.9 minutes in
increments of 0.1 minutes.
Setting the Pressurization Time
Pressurization Time is the time the vial pressurization gas is
introduced into the sample vial to build up additional pressure
in the vial.
Use the cursor keys to highlight Pressuriz. Time (min).
Key in the desired value, followed by Enter.
The allowed range for this setting is 0-99.99 minutes in
increments of 0.01 minutes.
