EXPANDER GATE
This monaural effect limits signals at a certain level (threshold) or lower and expands the
dynamic range, providing an effect opposite to the compressor effect.
Link (ON/OFF) Links FX1 and FX2 (or FX 3 and FX4). See previous page.
Thresh (-60dB - 0dB) Adjusts the threshold level at which the effect is enabled
Ratio (2:1 - 100:1) Adjusts the compression ratio for signals that are lower than the
threshold level

Attack (0ms - 127ms) Adjusts the attack time of the effect
Release (0ms - 127ms) Adjusts the release time of the effect
Pressing the [F5] (MORE) softkey provides access to another parameter:
Hold (0 - 127) Adjusts the hold time of the effect
NOISE GATE
This monaural effect mutes signals below a certain level (threshold).
This is useful for cutting noise during silent parts of a performance.
