interval
Syntax [no] interval seconds

Description This optional parameter specifies the interval between ICMP pings to the target IP address.
Default 1
Parameters seconds — An integer interval value.
Values 1 to 255
padding-size
Syntax [no] padding-size padding-size
Context config>router>static-route-entry>next-hop>cpe-check
config>router>static-route-entry>indirect>cpe-check
Description This optional parameter specifies the amount of padding to add to the ICMP packet in bytes. The
parameter is only applicable when the cpe-check option is used with the associated static route.
Default 0
Parameters padding-size — An integer value.
Values 0 to 16384 bytes

Description This optional parameter enables the ability to log transitions between active and in-active based on the
CPE connectivity check. Events will be sent to the system log, syslog and SNMP traps.
