22. During the measuring pause connect a dry Erlenmeyer flask to the TIC head. This re-
tains the oxygen flushing (conditioning) and the dry gas flow cleans the hose system of
any residual moisture.
23. Keep the heating plate at a constant temperature. Only switch off the temperature con-
trol during prolonged measuring pauses.
