7.5.2 A/C compressor drivebelt tensioning
To check/adjust belt tensioning follow this procedure.
Stop the engine.
Remove the guard protecting the belt.
Check belt tensioning.
1) Belt
2) Fixing screw
3) Fixing screw
To adjust belt tensioning:
Loosen lightly the fixing screws (2) and (3).
Pull the compressor to adjust belt tensioning. Compressor rotates with axis of rotation screw (3).
Screw again fixing screws (2) and (3).
