7.12 CHEMICALS PUMP
Cemicals pump is a volumetric diaphragm pump type.
Read the manual of the pump.
Check periodically the pump oil level, as described in the manual of the pump.
All service operations MUST be done with engine stopped.
Before starting any service to the pump, set to zero the pressure, turn off the engine and wait for the
complete stop of all rotating parts.
Before any service to diaphragms or housing rinse the complete circuit for a long time with clean
water.
1) Oil tank and level
2) Pressure accumulator with valve
3) Maximum pressure relief valve
4) Oil drain plug
The pump is provided with a pressure accumulator (2) charged with compressed air on the pressure side
manifold.
Pressure inside the accumulator should be about 5 bar / 72.5 PSI (see manual of the pump).
Do NOT keep the pressure of the accumulator higher than working spray pressure.
Do NOT keep a too low pressure to avoid damages to the accumulator.
