3.13.15 Dump valve
Chemicals circuit can be equipped with a dump valve.
Dump valve opens when sections valves are closed.
Dump valve closes when sections valves are opened.
The function of the dump valve is to minimize the pressure when not spraying through the nozzles.
Dump valve can be motorized type or solenoid type.
If dump valve stays open (malfunction, electric problem, etc), spray pressure cannot be increased
and remains always at minimum level.
If this problem occurs, first check the dump valve.
3.13.16 Flowmeter
Flowmeter is installed before nozzles valves and measures the flow coming out of the nozzles.
Different types of flowmeter are available.
3.13.17 Nozzles
Nozzles are connected to the nozzles manifolds by specific supports.
Nozzles can be double or triple.
All nozzles are equipped with no-drip valve.
Nozzles can be adjusted and rotated.
Small rotations of the nozzle are possible without loosening any nut: simply rotate the nozzle to a
maximum angle of 10° from the no-drip valve axis.
To rotate more the nozzle, loosen the nut (2), adjust the nozzle and tight again firmly the nut (2).
To close the nozzle, rotate it at a 90° angle from the no-drip valve axis.
