4 USING THE MACHINE
4.1 RUNNING IN
A period of at least 40/50 hours is required to run in new machines.
During this period take care of the following:
after starting the machine warm up the engine slowly without running at high revs
do not require the maximum power to the engine;
do not brake roughly;
check frequently the engine oil level and the transmission oil level;
check belts tension;
make sure that the wheels nut are tightened with the proper torque.
Same precaution must be always followed when servicing or changing important components of the machine
such as engine, transmission, brakes, etc.
4.2 RUNNING THE MACHINE
4.2.1 Filling up fuel and urea solution
Diesel fuel tank can be filled through the cap:
Fuel must comply with specifications prescribed in the engine manual.
All fuels are highly flammable.
Fuel leaks on hot surfaces or electric components can cause fire.
Do not waste fuel in the environemnt.
Before starting to fill the fuel tank turn off the engine and lights and remove the ignition key.
Do NOT eat or drink while filling the fuel.
Do NOT smoke or use open flames during fuel filling.
