6. Using a screwdriver, push down the metal bar below the
drive assembly (Figure 3-23) and slide the assembly forward
to permit access to the signal and power cables.

7. Carefully remove the ribbon cables, power cables, and the
ground connectors from the rear of both MFD Units. Mark
the connector that was connected to MFD Unit A (lower
MFD).
