One MFD Unit and One HDU
This procedure contains both procedural steps and questions.
Where questions are asked, responses are provided for both YES
and NO answers.
1. Turn the power switch OFF.
2. Insert a new Operating System Diskette into the MFD
Unit A (lower MFU Unit).
3. Turn the power switch ON.
4. Did the Operating System boot from the new Diskette?
YES Original Operating System Diskette was faulty.
Replace with a new one.
NO Continue.
5. Turn the power switch OFF.
6. Loosen the two screws that secure the upper cover.
7. Slide the upper cover forward approximately 0.5 inch and
lift it from the System Module.
