SYSTEM TEST DIAGNOSTICS
(OVERLAY VERSION)
The Overlay Version of the System Test X.XX must be used in
systems with 128-KB memory. Other versions of the System Test
which run with 128 KB will display the following message:
Program too big to fit into memory
Note: The overlay version of the system test wUl function
correctly only with the 2.11 version of MS-DOS.
MS-DOS 3.1 and further releases take up more memory
space than 2.11 and will display an error message.
Loading System Test (Overlay Version)
The System Test Diagnostics (Overlay Version) is loaded as
follows:
1. Insert the MS-DOS 2.11 System Diskette into MFD Unit A
and close the drive door.
2. Turn the System Module power switch ON.
3. After the Resident Diagnostics have successfully been
completed, verify that the Operating System has been
loaded.
4. Remove the MS-DOS 2.11 System Diskette from MFD
Unit A.
