Information such as segment failure, data written (in HEX), and
data read (in HEX) may also be displayed. The segment indicates
the bank in which the failure occurred. The segment codes for
bank locations are shown below.
Determining Faulty RAM Chips
First, the data written and read in HEX must be converted to
binary. The table shown in Figure 5-15 provides a HEX to binary
conversion chart.
