follows:
Help
The Help display is started by pressing the key "1" followed by the
ENTER key on the Main Menu.
Caution: Care should be observed when using the
following factory format program, as it is possible to
destroy ail data on the HDU.
The Low-Level Format utility performs a factory format on the
hard disks supported by the PC 6300. This factory format must be
performed before FDISK is run to create a partition on the HDU.
Before running the program, the user must select the HDU to be
tested by means of the "Select Drive" option found under the
"Check Configuration" option. Upon completion of the Low-Level
Format, a verify test should be performed to catch bad blocks on
the surface of the HDU. The bad blocks should be formatted after
the Verify Surface Test.
