I
Troubleshooting
The
method
used
in
troubleshooting
the
PC
6300
depends
on
the
condition
of
the
system
when
the
power
switch
is
turned
ON.
If
the
system
is
not
capable
of
performing
the
System
Test
Diagnostics,
the
section
entitled
"Troubleshooting
Without
System
Test"
should
be
used.
If
the
system
is
capable
of
performing
the
System
Test
Diagnostics,
the
section
entitled
"Troubleshooting
With
System
Test"
should
be
used.
These
procedures
consist
of
performing
specific
portions
of
the
System
Test
Diagnostics,
depending
on
the
nature
of
the
trouble.
It
is
assumed
that
error
messages
are
generated
when
these
tests
are
performed.
Replacing
Faulty
Modules
After
the
source
of
trouble
has
been
isolated
to
a
specific
module,
procedures
are
provided
for
the
replacement
of
the
faulty
module.
Appendix
B
contains
a
list
of
the
replaceable
modules
along
with
ordering
information.
