Short Isolation Procedure
This procedure contains both procedural steps and questions.
Where questions are asked, responses are provided for both YES
and NO answers.
1. Turn the power switch OFF.
2. Loosen the screws securing the +5 and GND cables to the
power supply and remove the cables.
3. Attach the VOM to the +5 and GND cables. (Use ohms R x 1
scale.)
4. Does the meter read 0 ohms?
YES Continue.
NO Return to "Power Supply Check."
5. Remove an option board from the Bus Converter Board.
6. Does the VOM indicate 7 ohms or more after the option
board has been removed?
YES Replace the option board just removed and
continue.
NO Continue.
