Replacing

Bus

Converter

1.

Turn

the

System

Module

and

all

external

devices

OFF.

2.

Unplug

the

ac

power

cable

from

the

rear

panel.

3.

Loosen

the

two

screws

that

secure

the

upper

cover.

4.

Slide

the

upper

cover

forward

approximately

0.5

inch

and

lift

it

from

the

System

Module.

5.

Remove

all

expansion

boards

from

the

Bus

Converter.

6.

Loosen

the

screws

that

secure

the

+5

V

dc

and

GND

terminals

of

the

Bus

Converter

to

the

Display

Controller.

Remove

the

+5

V

dc

and

GND

power

cables

from

the

connect

points.

8.

Remove

the

four

mounting

screws

that

secure

the

Bus

Converter

to

the

chassis.

9.

Gently

slide

the

Bus

Converter

toward

the

power

supply

until

the

connectors

have

cleared

the

Display

Controller.

10.

Carefully

lift

the

Bus

Converter

from

the

System.

To

reinstall

the

Bus

Converter,

perform

the

removal

procedures

in

reverse

order.
