Replacing Memory Chips
1. Turn the System Module and all external devices OFF.
PI 2. Unplug the ac power cable from the rear panel.
^ 3. If necessary, disconnect all cables (Display, Keyboard,
M Printer, etc.) from the rear panel of the System Module.
_ 4. After you have determined which board (Motherboard or
I I Memory Expansion Board) the faulty RAM chip resides on,
' remove the appropriate System Module cover.
5. Determine the location of the faulty chip as discussed in the
section "TROUBLESHOOTING WITH SYSTEM TEST -
Random Access Memory (RAM)."
6. Locate the faulty RAM chip (Figures 5-74 and 5-75).
