Memory Expansion Board (Optional)
The Memory Expansion Board (Figure 2-17) is organized in three
banks of 128 KB each. The three banks (0,1, and 2) are each made
up of two groups of nine 64-K bit RAM chips. One group is the
lower byte (even address) and the other is the higher byte (odd
address). Eight chips are used for memory and the ninth chip is
used for parity checking.
