8. Remove the lower jumper that connects pins 5 and 6 at
jumper block A, and replace it with the 3-pin jumper
supplied with the DEB.
9. Using a screwdriver, remove the Expansion Slot Cover of an
unused dual expansion slot (Figure 3-45) near the VDC.
Note: Although the DEB can be placed in any dual
expansion slot, the 50-pin cable which connects the
VDC to the DEB is short requiring the DEB to be
located near the VDC.
