11. Determine if the level number of your built-in Video Display
Controller is G0318 or higher. This is the board that
ordinarily controls display; the DEB enhances the
capabilities of this standard board. The two ways of
determining your level number are:
a. Look for a small label (usually yellow) located in the
center top section on the VDC (Figure 3-47). The label
has the level number on it.
b. If the VDC has a daughter board (a small board
attached on the far right of the VDC), the level nuniber
is G0317, and you will need to replace the PAL47 chip.
If the level number is G0318 or higher, skip the next
steps and go to Step 15.
