1—MEMORY TEST: This option tests the memory and transfers
data from memory to disk through DMA operations. During the
test, the screen will be blank for about 10 seconds and then several
colored screens with a striped background will appear briefly.
Each has the following text on the first line;
"MEMORY/DISK TRANSFER TEST THROUGH DMA
OPERATION"
No error should occur during this test. If any error does occur,
reject the DEB. Please note that the "Diagnostic Utility" will
write some data on floppy drive A; therefore, a formatted floppy
should be ready (not write protected) in drive A.
The test results are displayed with the following screen:
NO ERRORS IN MEMORY TEST
NO ERRORS IN MEMORY/DISK TRANSFER TEST
THROUGH DMA OPERATIONS
PRESS "ENTER" KEY TO CONTINUE.
