9. Remove the four screws that secure the lower MFD Unit to
the base of the drive assembly and remove the MFD Unit
from the base.
Prior to installing.the new MFD Unit, refer to Appendix A to
verify the jumper settings. Also, MFD Unit A must have a Load
Resistor Chip present (Figure 5-62).
To reinstall MFD Unit A, perform the removal procedures in
reverse order.
