should
be
placed
in
a
dust-free
environment.
Airborne
dust,
dirt,
and
smoke
can
cause
excessive
wear
on
moving
surfaces,
short
open
circuits
(especially
in
the
presence
of
high
humidity),
and
read/write
errors
on
the
disk.

The
PC
6300
should
be
placed
away
from
heat
and
direct
sunlight.
Unusually
high
temperatures
coupled
with
low
humidity
can
cause
static
problems.

may

enough
to
raise
the
temperature
beyond
the
maximum
allowed
if
enclosed
in
a
small
area.

will
also
decrease
the
air
flow
around
the
