Operation via Display and Keypad
Additionally, you can load or save the Audio interface settings with the opti-
ons
Load Audio Preset
and
save Audio Preset
. In total, three presets can be
used.
The Audio interface setting which is stored under the
standard preset
is
loaded automatically when the system is switched on.
With the selection
default settings,
all Audio interfaces are reset to the deli-
very status:
– output 1 = receive signal 1 (RX1)
–output 2 =
receive signal 2 (RX2)
– transmit signal 1 = input 1 (IN1)
– transmit signal 2 = input 2 (IN2)
– all other sources are deactivated
Mute microphone
The microphone can be muted during a connection by pressing the
Ok
button.
By pressing the button a second time, you deactivate the muting. In the status
window, a blinking symbol is displayed on the left side next to the level me-
ter.
Adjust headphones level
If a headphone is connected to the headset interface, you can adjust the head-
phones level with the cursor keys and within the range of -40 dB ... 0
dB during a connection.
Adjust microphone amplifying
If a microphone is used at a headset interface you can vary the microphone
amplifying during a connection with the keys

or

within the range of 0 ...
45 dB.
Adjust the headset volume ratio of the receive and transmit signals
When a headset is connected to a headset interface, you can control the vo-
lume ratio of the receive and tranmit signal with the keys

and
8
within a
range of RX+16 ... TX+16 dB during the connection.
NOTE
When a Stereo transmission (only MAGIC AC1 XIP) is made, the inputs and
outputs are combined correspondingly and controlled jointly.
NOTE
If connections with two different partners are established, the microphone is
always muted for both connections.
