3. Make sure that the WiFi and Network icons are green
and then press Locate.
NOTE:
Press Exit to return to the Settings/Preference screen.
4. Select the correct options for the location, such as
Building, Floor, and Room number.
NOTES:
• The location selection screens may have up to
five levels of hierarchy: facility, building, unit,
floor, and room. The Other Location control
allows you to scroll through the available location
levels.
• On the Available rooms screen, if you press the Associated rooms control, a list of rooms that
are associated to other beds will show.
• You may see a “Retrieving Data” screen as the bed gets the information from the Smart Bed
Connectivity.
5. The room location and patient identity screen will
show. Do as applicable:
• Continue—press this control if the room number
is correct and you want to verify the patient
identity. Go to “Verify the Patient Identity” on
page 53.
• Cancel—press this control if you do not want to
verify the patient. The Home screen will show
with the Room Associated icon and flashing No
Patient icon.
• Change Room—press this control if the room number is not correct. The Building screen will
show. Select the Building, Floor, and Room number.
6. After you select the room number, the bed will
retrieve the room data, then associate the room to the
bed. You will be asked to verify the patient identity,
you have these options:
• Ye s —press this control to verify and activate bed
location and patient. The bed will return to the
Home screen.
• No—press this control if the identity information
is not correct.
• Cancel—press this control cancel and return to the Setting/Preference screen.
