13.4.1 Setting CO2 Parameter
Select the CO
2
parameter area to enter CO
2
parameter setting menu.
Setting Unit
SelectUnitin the CO
2
parameter setting menu, and the options are
mmHg,kPaor%.
Setting Apnea Alarm Time
For mainstream CO
2
and microstream CO
2
module, selectApnea Almin
the CO2 parameter setting menu, you can select the apnea time as required in
the options. The monitor indicates an alarm when a pre-adjusted time has
elapsed since the last detected breath.
Setting Expiring Cycle
The value of EtCO
2
and FiCO
2
in the CO
2
parameter area will be refreshed
in real-time. As for the mainstream CO
2
module and microstream CO
2
module,
you can set the method to calculate EtCO
2
and FiCO
2.
TheEt Cyclecan be set in the CO
2
parameter setting menu:
One Breathcalculate the EtCO
2
and FiCO
2
by every respiratory wave.
10s or 20s a time interval, during which the maximum CO
2
concentration is EtCO
2
, and the minimum CO
2
concentration is FiCO
2.
Setting Alarm Switch
Select Alarm Switchin CO
2
parameter setting. Alarm ON or OFF can be
set.
Setting Alarm Source
Select the alarm source for CO
2
. When the selected parameter or one of the
parameter exceed alarm limit, the monitor will give out alarm signal. The
options are as follows:
Et:Only EtCO
2
exceeds the alarm limit will trigger the alarm.
Fi:Only FiCO
2
exceeds the alarm limit will trigger the alarm.
awRR:Only awRR exceeds the alarm limit will trigger the alarm.
