To enable Microsoft networking:
STEP 1
Choose
Network Services > Microsoft Networking
from the Navigation menu.
The
Microsoft Net working
window opens.
STEP 2
Click
Enab le fil e serv ic e for Microsof t net w orki ng
to enable Microsoft
networking.
STEP 3
Select either
Standalone Server
or
AD Domain Member
networking type and
enter the appropriate param eters acc ordin g to the the netw ork ing ty p e that you
choose.

—Use local Users for user authentication.

Server Description
(Optional)
Describe the NAS so that users can easily identify the
server. For example, the nam e of the ad min istra tor or
department, or the location of the server.
Workgroup Specify the workgroup to which the NAS belongs.
