Security
This section describes how to configure the security on the NAS and in cludes t he
following:
Security Level
Network Access Protection
Imp ort S SL S e cure Certific ate
Security Level
From the
Ad mi nist rat io n > Security > S e cu rity Level
window, you can configure
the security level for the NAS as high, medium, or low.
To configure the security level:
STEP 1
Choose
Adm i nis tration > Se cu rity > Se curi ty Lev el
from the Navigation menu.
The Security Level window opens.
STEP 2
Select the security level for the NAS.
High
—Only allow connections that are on the list. This i s commonly r ef err ed
to as a white list. To add connections to the list, click the green
+
” icon and
add the connection. Click the red
-
” icon to remove a con nec tion.

Single IP Address
—Enter the IP address from which the connections to
this NAS are allowed.
