Configure Wake on LAN

by Wake on LAN. If enabled, this feature allows the NAS to be powered on
remotely from the LAN by the NSS Dis c overy Tool included on the Setup
Wizard CD.
NOTE
If the power connection is physicall y re move d when the NAS is turned
off, Wake on LAN will not function whether or not the power supply is
reconne cted afterwa rds .

—Click to enable Wake on LAN.

Disable
—Click to disable Wake on LAN.

When the AC power resumes
—Specify the action the NAS should take
when the power resumes after power loss.

The NAS will return to its previous power-on or power-off status.

power is restored.

Set power on/power off/restart schedule
—This option allows you to
power on or power off the NAS on a schedule. From the drop-down lists,
select everyday, w eekd ays , w eekend , or any days of the week and s et the
time for automatic system power on, power off, or restart. Weekdays
represent Monday to Friday. W eekend represents Saturday and Sunday. Up
to 15 schedules can be set.

Postpone the restart/shutdown schedule when replication job is on
progress
—Enable to allow the scheduled system restart or shut down to
be carried out after a running replication job completes. Otherwise, the
system will ignore the running replication job and execute scheduled
system restart or shutdown.
