This task installs the DC power module in the ONS 15454 M2 system.Purpose

• Connect the chassis to the office ground. For detailed instructions on how
to ground the chassis, refer to the Electrostatic Discharge and Grounding
Guide for Cisco CPT and Cisco ONS Platforms .

Procedure
Step 1 Insert the DC power module in Slot A (see the following figure).

Step 2 Plug the DC power module completely into the chassis.
Step 3 Tighten the screw to a torque value of 4 in-lb (0.45 N-m) to lock the power module in the chassis (see the
following figure).
