To insert a new PCM follow the instructions above in reverse order.
8.6.7 To replace motor and encoder
The ADU is equipped with three DC-motors, two of which are identical,
and one step motor, for the axes:
•Elevation (DC motor).
Azimuth (DC motor).
Cross Elevation (DC motor).
The DC-motors are all brush-less motors, controlled by their individual
DDM. To each of the DC-motors a corresponding encoder provides
feedback of its position.

Important
After installing a new PCM you must update the
calibration data. For instructions see To update
