SAILOR 100 GX system
99-145912-A Chapter 2: Introduction 2-3
Introduction
2.1.2 Above Deck Unit (ADU)
The SAILOR 100 GX ADU is a 103 cm stabilized tracking antenna,
consisting of a suspended antenna with a standard global RF
configuration. It is stabilized by heavy duty vibration dampers in 3-axis
(plus skew) and can be used in environments with elevations of -25° to +
125°. The ADU weighs 126 kg and is powered by the ACU. The ADU is
protected by a radome.
All communication between the ADU and the ACU passes through a
single standard 50 Ohm cable (with N connector) through the rotary
joint. No cable work is required inside the radome.
