database using the vbXManager application. This instrument
database can then be stored and returned to the instrument at a later
time for review.

Connect the instrument to the PC using the supplied USB
cable, or any Ethernet cable.
Start the vbXManager application.
Double-click your instrument (identifiable by its serial
number) in the new window. The instrument properties
window will open.
Click the Tasks tab then the Copy button in the Copy
Database area. Browse to the location you wish to copy the
database to. Enter a name for the file in the File name: field
and click the Save button. A copy of the instrument database
will be saved to the chosen location with a '.pbd' file
extension.
