Upgrading Firmware
The P4 Advanced Autopilot System is the result of extensive development and testing
programs.
ComNav is constantly doing research and development related to our Autopilot Systems.
From time to time, this can result in new features and benefits that can be incorporated into
an existing system installation, in the field – by a ComNav Dealer, or even by the vessel
operator.
For the P4 system, this is done with a Firmware. The Firmware link is available from your
authorised dealer. The Link will provide intuitive instructions on how to download latest
firmware to install the Upgrade. Contact your ComNav Dealer for more information.
Caution! Be sure to read all of the documentation accompanying the Firmware
Upgrade instructions, so you understand all of the operational and performance changes
that may occur as a result of the Upgrade.
