2.1.2.1 Connecting the Footswitch
1. If using a footswitch, position the red
dot on the footswitch cord connector
upward and insert it into the footswitch
receptacle.
2.1.2.2 Connecting an APEX Handpiece
NOTE: The APEX handpieces consist of the
C9820 Basic, C9824 Two Button, C9828
Full-Function, and C9840 Small Shaver
handpieces.
1. If using the Advantage controller:
(a) Plug the APEX handpiece cord
connector directly into the APEX
receptacle (Port 1) on the top portion of
the controller.
2. If using the E9000 or Power
Pro controller:
(a) Plug the APEX handpiece cord
connector into the female end of the
E9320 APEX Adapter.
