1. After you have enabled the Apparel check box, place the item on the
glass platform with the compression plate on top.
2. Move the gate slowly across the object. You will then be prompted to
remove the compression plate and set it aside.
3. Complete the measurement by moving the gate back across the item.
The end result shows the actual weight of the item that was measured.
The red line shows the compressed height of the item and the green
line shows the actual height. The height figure that is reported is the
compressed value.
Measuring with filter mode
The filter mode measures only the largest item (items cannot be touching),
if multiple items are found in the measurement field. Items that have been
excluded from the measurement process, in this example a plastic bag, are
displayed in red. The item that was measured is displayed in yellow.
To turn filter mode off and on, go to the Menu > Configure > Operation
screen (See “Filter” on page 41.)
