Send a Test Message from the Smart Controller
1. From the HOME screen, press to view the main menu.
2. The screen displays the main menu. Press to select
6)DIAGNOSTICS.
1. From the diagnostics menu, press to select 8)USE
DATA PORT. The controller will attempt to send a mini-report to the data port.
2. The Smart Controller sends a test message to the hyperterminal screen that gen-
erates a Mini Report. See Figure 44.
3. The screen indicates when the report has been sent to the data port.
4. Press
to return to the diagnostics menu.
