DEFINITION OF TERMS USED AND ABBREVIATIONS
The following terms and abbreviations are used throughout this manual.
PM: Power Module
JSM: Joystick Module
ISM: Intelligent Seating/Lighting Module
ID: Any system Input Device, e.g. a JSM or the Omni2
SID: Specialty Input Device. Any specialty type of Input Device for connection to the Omni2, e.g. head array, TASH
switch panel or mini-joysticks.
User Switch: The switch for the User that initiates Profile/Mode changes and emergency stopping.
TRACE: The industry standard pin-out for 9-way D-type input and output connectors.
IOM: Input/Output Module. A universal module that can be used as a simple TRACE Input Module, or as an
Output Module
OBP: On-Board Programming. A method of programming the R-net system via the buttons on the Omni2’s front
panel.
