5 INSTALLING THE OMNI2 ONTO A POWERCHAIR
The Omni2 Display and Input Sections should be fitted to the powerchair using the brackets supplied by the powerchair
manufacturer. If suitable brackets are not available, the diagram below can be used to design your own.
Take care not to over-tighten the fixing screws.
The Omni2 Display Section should be fitted in a position that is suitable for the powerchair user. It is particularly important to
ensure the Omni2’s screen is clearly visible.
NOTE (HP, IN)
Due to its exposed position, Curtiss-Wright strongly recommends that the Omni2 Display Section is fitted to a flexible
mounting system, e.g. a ‘gooseneck’ arrangement. This will help to mitigate damage caused by inadvertent ‘knocks’.
The Omni2 Input Section should be mounted with the ‘D’ type connectors facing downwards. This will help to prevent
moisture / liquid ingress.
