8.4.1.1.2 Formatting

Please be advised that formatting will clear all data on the disk.

The hot standby disk cannot be formatted.
Log in to the PC client. Click on the upper-right corner and then select
Storage
>
Storage
Resource

Disk
. Select one or more disks, and then click
Format
.
8.4.1.1.3 Fixing the File System
When you cannot mount the disk or you cannot properly use the disk, you can try to fix the file
system.
Log in to the PC client. Click on the upper-right corner and then select
Storage
>
Storage
Resource
>
Disk
. Select one or more disks, and then click
Fix File System
. You can repair the file
system of the corresponding disk. The repaired disk can be mounted and work properly.

RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) is a data storage virtualization technology that
combines multiple physical disks into a single logical unit for the purposes of data redundancy,
performance improvement, or both.
