Autotest in Loopback Mode
Use Loopback mode to test spools of cable, segments of
uninstalled cable, and patch cords.
In this mode, the tester measures loss, length, and
propagation delay at two wavelengths in one or both
directions.
Figure 5-10 shows the equipment required for testing
fiber in Loopback mode.
