Serial Interfaces
The tester and smart remote have a USB client interface.
The main DTX-1800 and DTX-1200 testers also have an
RS-232 (EIA/TIA-232) interface.
The RS-232 (EIA/TIA-232) serial port connects to a PC with
a DB-9 to IEEE 1394 (Firewire) cable available from Fluke
Networks. Table 9-4 shows the pin connections for the
DTX serial cable.
