communications networks, such as telephone

Do not open the case; no user-serviceable parts
are inside.
Do not modify the tester.
Use only ac adapters approved by Fluke
Networks for use with the DTX tester to charge
the battery or power the tester.
When servicing the tester, use only specified
replacement parts.
Do not use the tester if it is damaged. Inspect
the tester before use.
If this equipment is used in a manner not
specified by the manufacturer, the protection
provided by the equipment may be impaired.
Never connect the tester to any telephony
inputs, systems, or equipment, including ISDN.
Doing so is a misapplication of this product,
which can result in damage to the tester and
create a potential shock hazard to the user.
