To set the reference:
1 Attach permanent link and channel adapters and
make the connections shown in Figure 3-1.
2 Turn the rotary switch to SPECIAL FUNCTIONS and
turn on the smart remote.
3 Highlight Set Reference; then press
H. If both a
fiber module and copper adapter are attached,
select Link Interface Adapter next.
4 Press P.
