Accounts are missing. Setting up / managing accounts is done via the
customer portal discoverFP.
Synchronize PostBase Vision with the customer
portal (see chapter 13, page 102).
If necessary, contact the system administrator.
The current user is not allowed to meter on the
desired account.
Contact the system administrator.
Blank display. Check whether the power cable is plugged in cor-
rectly and that PostBase Vision is turned on.
PostBase Vision is in standby.
Touch the display or
press the ON / OFF button
briefly.
Display fails to react
when touched.
Turn off PostBase Vision.
Calibrate touch screen (see chapter 16.8, page 136).
Display shows single-colored
background and text
“System Failure …”
(blue screen / red screen).
A system error has occurred.
Turn off PostBase Vision (see page 37).
If PostBase Vision does not react to pressing the
ON / OFF button: Pull the power plug.
Functions / buttons are
missing in the display.
Unavailable functions are blanked out.
Incoming mail stamp:
date / time stamp missing
from the imprint.
The selected incoming mail stamp does not
contain a date / time stamp.
Select an incoming mail stamp that prints both time
and date.
The set date is not the current date.
PostBase Vision can only print the time in
combination with the current date.
