The Local Services -> DHCP Server ->DHCP Pool -> New menu consists of the following
fields:
Fields in the Basic Parameters menu
Field Description
Interface Select the interface over which the addresses defined in IP
Range are to be assigned to DHCP clients.
When a DHCP request is received over this Interface, one of
the addresses from the address pool is assigned.
IP Range Enter the first (first field) and last (second field) IP address of
the IP address pool.
The Advanced Settingsmenu consists of the following fields:
Fields in the Advanced Settings menu
Field Description
Gateway Select which IP address is to be transferred to the DHCP client
as gateway.
If you enable here the option Use Router as Gateway, the IP
Address defined for Interface will be transferred. If the option is
deactivated, you enter the appropriate IP address.
The option is active by default.
