tact the time server after 1, 2, 4, 8 seconds, and then every 10
seconds.
• 7, : For an unrestricted period, the system attempts to
contact the time server after 1, 2, 4, 8 seconds, and then
every 10 seconds.
Caution
If certificates are used to encrypt data traffic in a VPN, it is
extremely important that the correct time is set on the
device. To ensure this is the case, for Time Update Policy,
select the value 7, .
Internal Time Server
Select whether the internal time server is to be used.
The function is activated with 7#,. Time requests from a
client will be answered with the current system time. This is giv-
en as GMT, without offset.
The default state of the function is Disabled. Time requests from
a client are not answered.

• Licences already available in the device's ex works state
• Free extra licences
• Extra licences at additional cost

works state and which can also be obtained free of charge or at additional cost. You can
