Limited Slip Differential
Limited Slip Differential refers to a feature
equipped with a mechanism that controls
the differential functions of the wheels in
the rear differential.
The Limited Slip Differential helps
improve handling performance when
circling.
WARNING
Never run wheels with one of them lifted
by the jack. It is extremely dangerous for
a vehicle equipped with Limited Slip
Differential.
Information
• For vehicles equipped with the LSD,
internal friction sound may be heard
when cornering. These conditions are
normal and indicate that LSD is
functioning properly. If the internal
friction sound gradually increases, have
the Rear Differential (for LSD) oil
changed by an authorized retailer of
Genesis Branded products.
• Be sure to inject oil for exclusive use of
LSD when replacing Rear Differential
(for LSD) Oil. Refer to the
"Recommended Lubricants And
Capacities" section in chapter 2.

not working properly, this warning
message will appear on the cluster
display. If this occurs, have the system
inspected by an authorized retailer of
Genesis Branded products.
