Calibration
Upon completion of a complete calibration sequence, return to the normal mode
and check compliance calibration at 0 daPa. Then enter Reflex Decay test
(under the SPECIAL hardkey) and verify that Ipsi and Contra sound pressure
levels are within the specified accuracy. Attenuator linearity and distortion can
also be checked in this mode.
A routine calibration sequence should be performed quarterly or annually and
includes:
Check the Contra, Ipsi and probe tone SPL calibration and recalibrate if
necessary
• Perform Y or Y/B/G calibration
Check the pressure system calibration and recalibrate if necessary
